
Dr Mia Kritzinger | Clinical Psychologist
Extensive experience and authority
Dr Mia Kritzinger is a registered Clinical Psychologist. Her career spans significant and diverse roles, establishing her as an expert in the field:
- Academic and Clinical Leadership: She was the Principal Clinical Psychologist at an academic hospital (Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital), as well as a senior lecturer at a medical university (Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University), prior to starting her full-time private practice.
- Training and Supervision: Dr Kritzinger is deeply passionate about psychological training, having managed a large clinical psychology department, lectured Master’s students, and provided extensive clinical supervision to intern psychologists and psychiatric registrars.
- Foundational Training: She completed her Master’s training at North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, and has worked in various psychiatric and general training hospitals.
- Additional post-graduate training: She completed her PhD at the University of Pretoria.
